We produce special enzyme concentrate and textile auxiliaries that are essential for the ease of processing and their ability to achieve a wide range of "stone-wash" effects as required by the fashion world. Their success is attributed to the significant cost savings when compared to conventional stone washing, mainly with pumice stones. This cost saving is achieved by :

• The reduction or elimination of pumice stones, thereby saving in handling and storage
• Reduced problems in effluent handling
• Reduced problems in effluent handling
• Effectively increasing the capacity of the washing machines, since additional denims or any cottonfabric can be added when stones are replaced

Our liquid enzyme concentrate have overcome the health hazards associated with the use of all earlier powdered forms of enzymes which often caused allergic reactions.

All known enzymes are proteins. They are high molecular weight compounds made up principally of chains of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. They have molecular weights ranging from 10,000 to 2,000,000. Enzymes bind temporarily to one or more of the reactants of the reaction they catalyze. In doings so, they lower the amount of activation energy needed and thus speed up the reaction.

One of the properties of enzymes that make them so important as diagnostic and research tools is the specificity they exhibit relative to the reactions they catalyze. A few enzymes will be specific for a particular type of chemical bond or functional group. In general, there are four distinct types of specificity :

• Absolute specificity - the enzyme will catalyze only one reaction
• Group specificity-the enzyme will act only on molecules that have specific function groups, such as amino, phosphate and methyl groups
• Linkage specificity - the enzyme will act on a particular type of chemical bond regardless of the rest of the molecular structure
• Stereo chemical specificity - the enzyme will act on a particular steric or optical isomer
